CONTINENTAL RAIL S.A. is a company that is wholly owned by VÍAS y CONSTRUCCIONES S.A. It has a Railway Company Licence and the corresponding safety certificate, specialising in rail freight in general.
The firm currently operates in the following business areas: service of commercial transport on the conventional network (RFIG), carrying building and maintenance materials for high-speed railway lines, ERTMS support and testing on HS lines, and the integrated management of rail networks at ports.
CONTINENTAL RAIL has its own large fleet of international-gauge and Iberian-gauge locomotives working in Spain, as well as the necessary fully licensed and ADIF-authorised drivers and maintenance personnel.
