1.3.4. Group Structure ROURA & CEVASA, S.A.
ROURA CEVASA S.A. was founded in 1930 as a small sign-writing workshop called Rótulos Roura, and it has grown to become the leading Spanish firm in the sector, specialising in the manufacture and installation of corporate-identity material.
In December 2000 the firm merged with Cevasa Imagen to create the sector's biggest player: Roura Cevasa, S.A., the leader in Spain in terms of both its size and its billings, and also among the largest in Europe, backed by the experience acquired over nearly 80 years of working in series or according to a programme, with a clear industrial positioning.
Roura Cevasa works for leading names in some of the most important sectors of the economy - oil, banking and finance, transport, automotive and distribution - and maintains a high level of industrial capacity and excellence (holding an ISO 9001 quality certificate and 14001 environmental certificate).
The company's projects - often designed by renowned architects and designers, such as Rafael Moneo, Norman Foster, Mariscal, Calatrava, etc. - have won National Visual Communications and Graphics Awards and LETRA awards (2002, 2003, 2006 and 2008), as well as the Pixel Prize, awarded by the digital-printing industry, for its extensive professional background. In 2009 the firm won two further awards, one from Repsol and the other from BP.
