ELECTREN, S.A. evelops its activity within the sector of electrical installations and especially in the railway industry. Its activity is focused on the engineering, assembly and maintenance of the overhead contact line, electrical traction substations, monitoring facilities, and infrastructures for the transformation and distribution of electric power for the railway network.
In these activities is one of the basic foundations of the company’s philosophy. From there, everything is designed based on that concept, from the structure of the organization to the allocation of resources. ROURA & CEVASA ROURA & CEVASA was founded in 1930 as a small artisan workshop for the manufacturing of signs, called Rótulos Roura. From there it grew to become the main Spanish company within its industry, specialising in the production and installation of elements of Corporate Identity.
In December 2000 it merged with Cevasa Imagen, thus creating the largest company within the industry, Roura Cevasa, S.A., a leader in Spain in terms of both size and turnover and also among the most important in Europe thanks to the experience gathered over almost 80 years of line or programmed production, with a clear industrial positioning.
Roura Cevasa works for the largest companies in the most important sectors of the economy: the Oil Industry, Banking and Finance, Transportation, the Automotive Industry and Distribution. On many occasions its work has been designed by renowned and prestigious designers and architects such as: Rafael Moneo, Norman Foster, Mariscal, Calatrava, etc. It has been awarded National Prizes on Visual and Graphic Communication such as the LETRA Awards (years 2002, 2003, 2006 y 2008) and it also won the PÍXEL award which is granted by the Digital Printing Industry, for its record in the industry; in 2009 it was awarded two additional prizes, one of them awarded by REPSOL and the other by BP.
